The Old Farts Travels is a blog dedicated to showcasing that age is no barrier to travel. With a passion for exploration and a lifetime of experiences, I share my journeys and insights to inspire others to keep on traveling, no matter their age.

I have traveled all my life for work and for pleasure. The key to enjoying travel is respect and go beyond being a tourist, be part of the world around you. Take an interest in the routine, the personal experience of the people. Respect the people along the way who help you understand not only what you see but why it exists.

My family consists of a couple of ex wives and an ex girlfriend 4 children 6 grand children and 2 step children. Now you know why my blog isn't about relationships.

I live in Northern New Brunswick and I am originally from Nova Scotia. 

Work wise I spent 45 years travelling for fire service related employment and loved every minute of it.
